I adventured to Granville Island, in Vancouver yesterday. Some how you can make it there by transit. But I would be baffled if I were to figure it out. So I hopped on a ferry and made headway across the inlet. Granville island is one of Vancouver’s hidden treasures; cram packed with artisans, unique shops for all ages and a succulent produce and food market all right along the edge of False Creek. On one side of you the Granville Street Bridge and the other there is quite a large moor. You don’t even feel as if you are in the middle of a metropolis.
